This week I took part in an online learning event with Dr. Joyce Valenza. My brain is overflowing with ideas from the session, but one that seemed like an immediate “must do” was signing up for a few paper.li subscriptions.
Paper.li is an curation service that compiles relevant articles and links from twitter into a daily ‘newspaper’ that is emailed to you. You can subscribe to papers that include information from the people you follow or from the information that includes a particular hash tag. Some of the # papers suggested for teacher-librarians are #tlchat and #edtech.
I have found this to be a great way to access some of the wonderful ideas that are available on twitter without spending hours searching for them! I would recommend subscribing to any paper.li papers that correspond with your personal or professional interests.
